A Song of Ice and Fire.
Lord Tywin asked ser Christophe to attend a wedding in a bordering domain in his name. He had to leave for King’s Landing. We’re to head there as well after the wedding.
The days leading up to the feast were all nice and pleasant, and I decided to mingle a bit among the household knights to get to know them a bit.
One of them, ser Ethan Hogg, invited me for a sparring match. he seemed to be a bit cocky, but I wasn’t about to let him call me craven for refusing either. He came on much to arrogant and I punished him for leaving his defenses down with a quick blow to the shoulder followed by a trip. After that he just lost it and kept coming no matter how much I hit him. I had no choice but to defend myself. I don’t think he would have accepted me yielding.
Matters became even worse when he managed to actually impale himself on my training spear. This turned the rest of the household knights against me, so i went to report to ser Christophe what had happened. He quickly took initiative to defuse the situation
During the feast when the groom’s family arrived, the bride had to leave in a hurry with an upset stomach. The lady Ninnoc went to check on her and later returned with a bit of news for ser Christophe. Apparently the bride had gotten herself with child some time back. Ser Christophe proceeded with defusing this volatile situation. He convinced the lord to dismiss the knight and ser Christophe took him in as one of his own household knights.
